But, Kyle proposed me many other solution to help me getting what I wanted. So I would like to thank him for everthing he did for me.
I received both of them yesterday. I was so happy, especially when I saw how the statue were perfectly packed. They travelled few thousand miles and hd no trouble.

Loved the experience - 5.6.2013
It is rare to have a web purchase feel like such a personal experience. The way the products are described and the prompt attention from the company was really great. I had a personal email from the owner within a few minutes of ordering to clarify something on my information. The statue arrived right on time and is better than I expected. Thanks

Buddha statues - 5.2.2013
I have purchased six Buddhas from Lotus Sculpture sofar and am very pleased with all of them. Because of my interest in Buddhism and in travel to Asian countries, I pick each Buddha as representative of specific nations and peoples. They remind me of the richness and variety of all these people and their great contribution to the human race. Thus, I have Buddhas from India, Japan, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, China, and Hawaii. I have yet to purchase those from Viet Nam and Laos, countries I have yet to visit. As a professor of theology and spirituality and a writer of twelve books thusfar, my latest on Christian-Buddhist dialogue, I cannot recommend more highly the beauty of Lotus Sculpture works. Thank you to Kyle.

Lord Dhanvantari is the Hindu god of ayurvedic medicine (Ayurveda) in the Hindu religion
Dhanvantari is closely assocaited with Lord Vishnu
Dhanvantari is hand carved from one piece of red marble
Lord Dhanvantari is regarded as the god of ayurvedic medicine (Ayurveda) in the Hindu religion. People pray to Dhanvantari, asking him for improved or good health for themselves and for others. Dhanvantri Mantra forms the part of prayers offered to the lord. He is an incarnation of Visnu. He holds in two of his hands a discus and a conch two symbols associated with Vishnu. The conch represents "Om", the first sound of creation and also the beginning of matter, since sound and matter are consider to be synonymous. The discus is thought to represent the sun. Vishnu, like Shiva, was originally a minor deity with only five out to 1,028 hymns in the Rig Veda addressed to him. He seems to have been derived from a solar deity. The discus is a vestige of his solar origins. Dhanwantari also holds the Kalasha which is full of nectar of immortality in his other left hand.
About Gorora Stone: Gorora stone or Red marble is a wonderful stone for sculpture because of its wide color range. It is rarer than most soft stones and must be shipped into Tamil Nadu from Uttar Pradesh in the north. The stone has wonderful cream/yellow/green veins in it contrasting to the beautiful deep red to sometimes pink natural coloration of the stone. The stone is extremely glossy. When a red marble statue is polished it has a disarming shimmer.
"Only the unlearned deem myself (Vishnu) and Shiva to be distinct; he , I , and Brahma are one, assuming different names for the creation, preservation and destruction of the universe. We, as the triune Self, pervade all creatures; the wise therefore regard all others as themselves." ~ Vishnu explains the Nature of the Trinity (trimurti ~
Vishnu is one of the principal Hindu deities, worshiped as the protector and preserver of the world and restorer of dharma (moral order). He is known chiefly through his avatars (incarnations), particularly Rama, Krishna and Buddha. In theory, Vishnu manifests a portion of himself anytime he is needed to fight evil, and his appearances are innumerable; but in practice, ten incarnations are most commonly recognized. Vishnu appears to be a prime example of how older gods and cults have been absorbed into Hinduism. Thought to be linked with an earlier sun god, Vishnu's ten incarnations may also be examples of older gods that have been amalgamated. Vaishnavites, one of the largest Hindu groups, are the devotees of Vishnu as Ishvara, the Supreme Being, worshiped in the forms of his manifestations or incarnations. Because of his pervasive presence, images as the focus of worship are of great importance, as are temple architecture and carving.
The Ten Avatars of Lord Vishnu
Vishnu's preserving, restoring, and protecting powers have been manifested in the world in a series of ten earthly incarnations known as avatars. The avatars arrive either to prevent a great evil or to affect good upon the earth. Nine are said to have descended already: three in nonhuman form, one in hybrid form and five in human form. The most important are Rama, fearless upholder of the law of dharma and Krishna; youthful hero of the Bhagavad-Gita Vishnu's final avatar is expected to arrive at a time when the earth is at the end of its present cycle, with the purpose of destroying the world and subsequently recreating it. Matsya the Fish - Saved humanity and the sacred Veda text from the flood. Kurma the Turtle - Helped create the world by supporting it on his back. Varaha the Boar - Raised the earth out of water with his tusks. Narashima, half-man, half lion - Destroyed a tyrant demon king. Vamana the Dwarf - Subdued king Bali, a powerful demon. Parashurama the Brahmin - Destroyed the warrior caste. Rama - Rescued his with Sita and killed the demon Ravana. Krishna - told the Epic poem Bhagavad-Gita to the warrior Arjuna. Buddha - The enlightened one. Kalki the Horse - Yet to come to the earth.
Balan Arimuvani is the artist behind all our colored marble statues. He has worked with Lotus Sculpture since we started in 2002. His small marble workshop began with only him and 2 other workers. His business has grown to 8 marble artists and now he has a granite workshop employing 30 workers for large granite statues. He continually credits Lotus Sculpture with his success saying it would not have been possible with out the continuing commissions from Lotus Sculpture. Balan is a good friend of Kyle Tortora, the owner of Lotus Sculpture. He has a wife and two beautiful girls.
View the video below to meet Balan and see his marble workshop and see a little how the statues are carved:
"Use a cotton cloth and gently buff the surface of the statue to bring out the natural polish of the stone."
White, red and black marble statues are easy to take care of as they just need some annual upkeep to keep them looking as they did when they were first carved. Here are some easy tips to keep your White, red and black marble statues from Lotus Sculpture looking like the gods they are:

Use a tooth brush to get into the hard to reach spaces of the sculpture
