  • The Gandhara style Buddha statue sits on a beautiful lotus base. A Gandhara Buddha typically has long flowing hair that is pulled up into a bun on top of His head, a contrast to the seashell-like curls that the Buddha typically wears. The Gandhara features are more Greco-roman than his South East Asian counterparts.  He is meditating in the Dhyana hand position or meditation position.  He wears full rainy season robes, which completely cover his arms and body. He has a third eye or urna on his forehead, which shows the Buddha to see the true state of reality. The patina has a mix of greens and copper coloration.

  • Dust the piece as needed. If you would like the piece to shine use a cotton cloth with some coconut oil or other natural oil to wipe down the statue.
