Lotus Sculpture will be donating 5% of all July sales to help re-outfit schools in Tamil Nadu that are in serious need of supplies.
Donations are appreciated.

From July 1st until July 31st Lotus Sculpture will donate 5% of our total sales to helping re-outfit schools in Tamil Nadu that are in need of new supplies.  We still have 9139 Rupees left over from the money raised from our January donations for the fishermen of Tamil Nadu who were affected by the tsunami.   We are looking to take the success of the fishing nets and turn it into an ongoing effort in the areas we travel to.  In our preliminary research done on our last trip we calculated that it will cost approximately $500 per school to give the children in the schools in Tamil Nadu, India the supplies they need to garner a proper education.  We look to raise at least $3000 giving us enough to assist 6 schools!

For the month of August as we travel south India we will take the raised money and put it to use.  We will keep a journal like we have done for the donations of the fishing nets in order to be completely transparent.  Please return to this page in September to see how the schools of Tamil Nadu have fared.

Donations are appreciated and vital to raising the $3000 we plan on raising.  You can email us at info@lotussculpture to ask more about how to donate.  Our you can send a check made payable to;

Your help is very much appreciated.

Please view our efforts in January raising $3032 and using it to buy and donate 45 large fishing nets to the village of Killai.
