This statue depicts Lord Hanuman, the devoted servant of Lord Rama, revered for his strength, purity, and unwavering devotion in Hindu tradition. Painted fiberglass captures Hanuman in a powerful pose holding his gada (staff), with his long tail wrapped gracefully around the halo symbolizing protection, loyalty, and spiritual energy surrounding the devotee.
Unlike traditional stone or metal, these fiberglass sculptures are astonishingly lightweight, allowing even large pieces like this one to be easily lifted by one or two people, making them ideal for home temples or community spaces.
How the sculpture is made: First each of the gods are made using a clay. A mold is then made from each clay model. A liquid fiberglass mixture is then poured into the mold and allowed to harden. The mold is then broken off and the hardened fiber models are put together. Clothes are then fashioned to fit the gods. The clothes are custom made using old saris and patterned cloth. Glass beads are then fixed to the cloths. The crowns are made using cloth and then held in place with fiber skeletons. Beads are added to the crowns as well. Jewelry inlcuding nose rings, earrings, rings and bangals are added to each figure. The long, black, curly hair is made from horse hair and is added to each of the gods. The figures are all hand painted.

Hanuman is one of the most important personalities in the epic, the Ramayana. He is a vanara who aided Lord Rama, an avatar of Vishnu, in rescuing His Consort, Sita, from the Demon king, Ravana. Vanaras are ape-like humanoids, who were created by Brahma and other gods to help Rama in battle against Ravana.
Hanuman is the son of Vayu, the Hindu God of Wind, and is looked upon by Hindus as the ultimate hero and great devotee of Lord Rama of the Ramayana. He represents the figure of the ideal being, as he is humble yet brave. His physical prowess, mental discipline and spiritual purity have made him extremely popular all over India.
He is a provider of courage, hope, knowledge, intellect and devotion. He is pictured as a robust monkey holding a mace or gada, which is a sign of bravery, and having a picture of Lord Rama tattooed on his chest, which is a sign of his devotion to Lord Rama.
He is also called Mahaveera (the great hero) or Pavan-suta (son of air) or Bajarangbali. In Tamil Nadu he is known as Anjaneya.

This sculpture is in our Oceanside, California gallery and ready for immediate packing & shipping. Packing takes anywhere from 1-4 business days. Shipping takes anywhere from 1-6 business days. The shipping price is automatically calculated from Oceanside, California to the destination in the online checkout. Shipping will be calculated based on the weight of the sculpture and the distance to the destination from our Oceanside, California showroom.
The delivery charges include insurance, a residential lift gate delivery to your home or business. The freight company will call you to schedule a delivery day and time frame to make the delivery. Someone must be present to receive the statue. Depending on where you are located we will use either R&L Carriers, UPS Freight, Estes, DHX or Roadrunner Transport.
The freight company will use a lift gate to bring the sculpture to the ground and then use a pallet jack to move it anywhere on the same level. They will move it anywhere in your driveway or in your garage. They will not take it to your backyard or in the elevator to your apartment or up or down any steps. They will not be unpacking the statue and taking the crate away. Think of them as you would UPS or Fedex. They only deliver the statue. If you require a little extra service, (within reason) a tip to a delivery man usually works wonders!
For placing the statue our customers have either placed the statue themselves with help of a friend and a tool like a hand truck or a dolly. Or by contacting their landscaper who is used to moving large and heavy objects like rocks and trees into place. For much larger and heavier sculptures sometimes the customer needs a piece of heavy equipment for placing the statue like a crane or forklift.
