The Bodhisattva of Compassion, Kwan Yin, also known as Guanyin, is seated on a double lotus base holding a medicinal willow branch used to cure illnesses with her left hand resting in her lap in the dhyana mudra of meditation
She is seated on a raised throne with 2 tiers of lotus flowers with her hair up in a bun on top of her head with an image of the Amida Buddha on the front
This Kwan Yin statue comes in its own custom carrying case, beautifully wrapped in Chinese fabric

Kwan Yin is seated in a relaxed position on a double lotus base. In her right hand she holds a a medicinal willow branch used to cure illnesses with her left hand resting in her lap in the dhyana mudra of meditation. Her hair is raised onto a bun on top of her head with an image of the Amida Buddha on the front of the bun. She has a slight smile resting playfully on her lips and a small urna for a third eye.

Kwan Yin (also spelled Kuan Yin, Quan Yin or Guan Yin), is known as the Goddess of Compassion, and she is one of the most popular deities in all of Asia. Her name in Chinese roughly translates to "The One Who hears the Cries of the World". Many believe that she is the female representation of Avalokiteshvara, the Tibetan and Nepalese God of Compassion. As a Bodhisattva, she has chosen to put off her complete, unexcelled, perfect enlightenment for the benefit of beings everywhere, and will wait as long as there is one being who is not enlightened.
