Materials: Hand Carved Makrana White Marble from Rajasthan, India
Total Height Including Base: 12 inches or 30 cms
Base Width & Depth: 15 x 7.5 inches
Weight: 66 pounds each or 30 kgs each elephant
- The white marble elephant is fully decorated in processional attire with a tapestery on his back and decoration over his forehead, around his ankles and around his trunk
- The elephant is hand carved from one block of white marble by the artists of Rajasthan, India
Each elephant is sold separately. Each is decorated in full processional attire with each having carved tapestries laid across their backs and on their foreheads, a long string of flowers around their necks with their tusks decorated. The elephant is carrying a bundle of flowers in his trunk.

Artists have always sought out makrana marble because of its pure white color and its hardness. Makrana marble was made famous for its use as the principle stone in the building of the Taj Mahal. White Marble is extremely strong and perfect for the outdoors in any weather. You can use soap, warm water and a cotton cloth to periodically go over the statue to remove any dust or dirt buildup.
Soap and warm water is the best way to maintain the statue. You can use a small brush to get into the small crevices of the statue like the hands and hair. Do not use any oils to clean the statue as this may be absorbed by the stone and discolor the applied area.
White marble's durability makes it perfect for cold winters and hot summers in any climate. The stone can stand up to the harshest conditions of heat and bitter cold. We suggest you bathe the sculpture at least once a year so that dirt does not collect on the sculpture. This will maintain the sculpture for your grandchildren and then their grandchildren!
