- He is wearing long flowing robes with his chest exposed and holding a lotus flower in his left hand
- The sculpture rests on a black wooden base which contrasts beautifully with the pure white of Avalokiteshvara
- Avalokiteshvara comes in his own custom carrying case, beautifully wrapped in Chinese fabric
