  • Manifesting divine abundance and removal of obstacles, the Cambodian bronze Ganesha, embellished with a lustrous antique green patina, seats himself majestically in the half lotus, or ardhapadmasana, position, presenting a regal yet accessible divine energy to all beholders
  • Adorning a pointed, stately crown and a selection of elaborate jewelry, this Ganesha statue is not merely a representation but a tangible embodiment of celestial royalty and divine benevolence, seamlessly blending spiritual symbolism with masterful craftsmanship
  • Positioned upon a meticulously crafted triple-tiered throne, this god of wisdom and prosperity welcomes devotees and seekers with a knife in his right hand, symbolizing cutting through ignorance and obstacles, and a discus in his left, representing the cyclicality and eternal nature of existence
  • Ganesha's trunk, gently curled to the left, whispers secrets of happiness and sweet indulgences, inviting all into a sacred space where the material and spiritual worlds joyfully intertwine
Elegantly seated, eternally benevolent - our Cambodian Bronze Ganesha Statue invites you into a realm where divine wisdom and prosperity radiate in abundance. Permeated with an antique green patina, this piece becomes more than mere representation; it stands as a tangible conduit of Ganesha's celestial benevolence and playful wisdom.

Ganesha, seated serenely in ardhapadmasana, extends an invitation into the profundities of meditative practice and spiritual abundance. The half-lotus position symbolizes a balanced and harmonious interconnectedness between the spiritual and physical realms, enabling practitioners to tap into Ganesha's insightful and auspicious energies.

The deity's adornments - a tall, pointed crown and meticulously crafted jewelry - speak of his divine royalty while remaining an accessible, joyful presence for all seekers and devotees. Each piece of jewelry is not merely ornamental but symbolic, reflecting Ganesha's regality, beauty, and the abundant blessings he bestows upon those who seek his guidance.

Seated upon a carefully crafted triple-tiered throne, Ganesha becomes a focal point of any spiritual space, symbolizing a foundation built upon layers of cosmic order, material wealth, and spiritual progression. In his hands, a knife and a discus signify his role as a remover of obstacles, cutting through ignorance and recognizing the eternal cycles of time and existence.

The slight, playful curl of his trunk to the left, an embodiment of ida nadi, symbolizes the moon, pleasure, and is often associated with the joyous blessings of the physical world, inviting adherents to find bliss and sweetness amidst their spiritual journeys.

This handcrafted Cambodian bronze statue is not just an aesthetic masterpiece but a vibrant, energetic focal point, harmonizing space with divine energy, prosperity, and sagacity. Whether placed in a sanctuary, meditation space, or as a centerpiece in your home, Ganesha, with his generous spirit and obstacle-removing prowess, blesses every environment with harmonious vibrations and auspicious beginnings.

Explore a path of wisdom, wealth, and benevolent obstacles with this majestic Ganesha, guiding your journeys with his eternal, supportive presence.

"In heaven Lord Ganesh will establish the predominance of gods, on earth that of people, in the nether world that of serpents and anti-gods"
~A Hymn from Sri Bhagavat-Tathva~

The chubby, gentle, wise, elephant-headed Ganesh, or Ganesha, is one of Hinduisms most popular deities. He is the remover of obstacles, the deity whom worshippers first acknowledge when they visit a temple. He is also patron of letters and of learning; he is the legendary scribe who, using his broken tusk, which he often holds, wrote down parts of the Mahabharata epic. Ganesh is usually depicted colored red; he is pot bellied, has one tusk broken, and has four arms that may hold a pasam, a goad, and a pot of rice or sweetmeats. The sweet meats are held in a type of bowl known as a laddus. His appetite for these sweets is legendary and offerings of them are often left at his shrine.

Statues of Ganesh can be found in most Indian towns. His image is placed where new houses are to be built; he is honored at the start of a journey or business venture, and poets traditionally invoke him at the start of a book.

A pasam is a triple twine weapon. Each of the three twines represents, arrogance and conceit, Maya - the illusory nature of the real world, ignorance. In Hindu ideology weapons are a viewed as symbolic tools to destroy the ego rather than to cause any type of bloodshed. Goads (or elephant prods) are typically used to direct elephants. Goads are symbolic of how one should steer the soul away from the ignorance and illusions of this earthly world just as a mahout would steer an elephant away from any treacherous path.

Bronze is an extremely durable metal made from a combination of 5 metals; copper, iron, tin, with minute additions of silver and gold. This combination is called Panchaloha bronze and is the basis for making the sacred Hindu temple statues of India and the world. Copper is the most prevalent metal in the alloy. Copper also gives the metal a softer composition that allows the bronze artisans to carve the details that are prevalent in each piece.
All the South Indian bronze sculpture Lotus Sculpture carries are Panchaloham and thus suited for any home altar or community temple.

If you would like the piece to shine use a cotton cloth with some coconut oil or other natural oil to wipe down the bronze statue.

Because of the durability of the metal not much is needed to maintain a bronze sculpture. Many of our customers purchase a bronze statue and perform daily puja and abhisheka consisting of bathing the Hindu deity in ghee, milk, coconut milk or other liquids. In this case nothing is needed to keep the statue clean as it will be bathed daily. If the sculpture is used for "darshan" or simply viewing the sculpture it is best to dust the statue as needed so no dirt collects in the details of the sculpture. For both polished golden bronzes and antique patina bronze statues if you would like the sculpture to shine use a cotton cloth with some coconut oil or other natural oil to wipe down the piece as needed.

Many of our bronze Hindu statues have been placed in outdoor temples. Bronze's durability makes it perfect for cold winters and hot summers of any climate. We suggest you bathe the sculpture every couple of months so that dirt does not collect on the sculpture and then use a cotton cloth with some natural oil to give the statue a shine. Both indoors and outdoors a bronze statue can be left alone which, overtime, will give the bronze an antique patina.

On some bronze statues you can see small hints of lime green, verde-gris patina. Some people prize this color for its age others want to remove it. If you would like to remove the verde-gris use a tooth brush with some coconut oil or other natural oil and lightly go over the verde-gris. This should remove the unwanted patina from the sculpture.

Polished Gold Bronze: Many temples and homes prefer the highly polished gold bronze for temples or home altars. In order to give the statue a bright polished sheen we recommend using a cotton rag and buffing the piece. An acid like tamarind or lemon juice will help aid this process. This takes time and effort to bring out the polish. If you are looking for a short cut; some of our customers have used a product called Brasso which has been good at bringing a tarnished golden piece back to its golden shine.
