These Copper Dakini Statue are a beautiful and unique representation of liberating energy in female form. It is said that gazing upon the Copper Dakini Statue can help arouse blissful energy in a practitioner, making it the perfect tool for anyone seeking to manifest their deepest desires.

The face of each Dakini is painted with 18k gold. The gold is crushed into a powder and then made into a paste. The gold paste is mixed with an organic paint mixture then used to paint the most important part of any Buddhist statue; the face. This entire piece is beautifully hand painted.

These stunning sculptures are hand crafted by the very talented artists of the beautiful Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal!

Five Dakinis:
  • Ekajati is one of the most powerful and fierce protectors of Vajrayana Buddhist mythology. She has one head, one breast, two arms, and a single eye. Ekajati's single eye gazes into unceasing space, a single fang pierces through obstacles, a single breast "nurtures supreme practitioners as children."
  • Kurukulla is a goddess whose body is usually depicted in red with four arms, holding a bow and arrow made of flowers in one pair of hands and a hook and noose of flowers in the other pair. She dances in a Dakini-pose and crushes the asura Rahu (the one who devours the sun).
  • Sinmamukha also known as the Lion Face Dakini or Lion-headed Dakini, is a wisdom dakini of the Dzogchen tradition. She is represented as a fierce dakini with the head of a snow lion. Her mouth is depicted with a roar, symbolizing untamed fury and jubilant laughter.
  • Vajravarahi is a wrathful form of Vajrayogini but she often has more prominent fangs and a more wrathful expression, and she prominently displays a sow's head above her right ear.
  • Vajrayogini is said to be a transformation or emanation of Vajrayogini. Vajrayogini is readily recognizable by her lunging posture and kapala or skull cup. Her head is uptilted, poised to imbibe the blood that overflows her kapala, and her right hand brandishes a curved kartika or flaying knife.

I always say to our customers; The sculpture chooses you, you do not choose the sculpture.
You just know when you find the right piece to bring into your home and into your heart.

Copper statues from Nepali do not need much maintenance. The best way to maintain the statue is to simply dust the piece periodically to keep any dirt from accumulating. They are meant solely for indoor use.

If you would like the piece to shine use a cotton cloth with some coconut oil or other natural oil to wipe down the copper statue. Pay special attention to not go over any painted area of the sculpture.

If you are really interested in making the statue shine you can use some natural oil, like coconut oil or olive oil, and a cotton rag to wipe down the metal portions of the piece. You can use a toothbrush as well to get into the small crevices of the statue. Please pay special attention to not use any oil on any painted surface of the sculpture, such as the face. This will damage the paint and possibly recolor the painted area. Simply use a cotton cloth to dust the face if the face requires attention. Make sure the surface that touches the face does not have any oils present on it. If there are natural stones on the sculpture use caution while going over the stones as they can become dislodged while handling the sculpture.

If you have any questions concerning your bronze statue please email us at [email protected] or call us at 1(760) 994-4455.
