Introducing the Black Granite Hanuman Statue, a symbol of strength and protection, masterfully hand-carved from a single block of granite. This powerful depiction of Hanuman, the revered monkey god known for his unwavering devotion and courage, stands tall and commanding with a gada or club by his side. The gada, a weapon symbolizing strength and valor, complements Hanuman's posture of readiness and service.

The right hand of Hanuman is raised in the abhaya mudra, a gesture of reassurance and protection, signifying the deity's role as a protector and remover of all fears. The statue's simple yet sturdy block base supports its imposing structure, grounding it firmly as a sentinel of sanctity in your garden or outdoor space.

Crafted from durable black granite, the statue is designed to withstand the elements, its polished surface contrasting elegantly with the meticulously preserved rough details. This interplay of textures brings out the intricate carvings and muscular definition of Hanuman, highlighting his divine presence.

Hanuman's tail, artistically running through his legs, adds to the dynamic flow of the statue, illustrating his agility and readiness. This statue is not merely an ornament; it is a representation of fidelity and might, intended to inspire and protect all who come into its presence. Ideal for enhancing a garden, temple, or any space needing the grounding energy of this divine figure.

Hanuman known also as Anjaneya, is one of the most important personalities in the epic, the Ramayana. He is a vanara or "human with the tail of a monkey" who aided Lord Rama, an avatar of Vishnu, in rescuing His consort, Sita, from the Rakshasa king Ravana.  The monkey general, Hanuman is shown standing with his right hand held up in the abhaya mudra as he holds his enormous club in his other hand.  Hanuman is renown for his faithful and steadfast service to Rama as told in the Ramayana epic in which Hanuman played an active part.  Some consider Hanuman to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva.  On Hanuman's forehead is a "V" shaped tilaka.  A tilaka is a ritual mark meaning holy mud.  It is applied on the foreheads of devotees of Lord Vishnu.  Vishnu also wears the symbol on His forehead.

Devotees apply it as a mark of respect to Lord Vishnu, denoting they are holding His Lotus Feet on their forehead.

About Black Granite:  Indian black granite is a wonderful stone. It is capable of a variety of finishes which can give it a variety of different color possibilities. It is possible to see 4-5 different colors on a single piece depending on the degree of polish or roughness of the stone. Indian black granite is among the best granite in the world sought after by artists globally. Unlike inferior quality granite, Indian granite is extremely dense and without impurities that plague other stones. The density of granite makes a granite sculpture perfect for any garden because it can be left outside in extreme heat and extreme cold for years without care.

I always say to our customers; The sculpture chooses you, you do not choose the sculpture.
You just know when you find the right piece to bring into your home and into your heart.
- Kyle Tortora, Founder of Lotus Sculpture
Hanuman is one of the most important personalities in the epic, the Ramayana. He is a vanara who aided Lord Rama, an avatar of Vishnu, in rescuing His Consort, Sita, from the Demon king, Ravana. Vanaras are ape-like humanoids, who were created by Brahma and other gods to help Rama in battle against Ravana.

Hanuman is the son of Vayu, the Hindu God of Wind, and is looked upon by Hindus as the ultimate hero and great devotee of Lord Rama of the Ramayana. He represents the figure of the ideal being, as he is humble yet brave. His physical prowess, mental discipline and spiritual purity have made him extremely popular all over India.

He is a provider of courage, hope, knowledge, intellect and devotion. He is pictured as a robust monkey holding a mace or gada, which is a sign of bravery, and having a picture of Lord Rama tattooed on his chest, which is a sign of his devotion to Lord Rama.

He is also called Mahaveera (the great hero) or Pavan-suta (son of air) or Bajarangbali.  In Tamil Nadu he is known as Anjaneya.

Granite statues from India do not need much maintenance. The best way to maintain the statue is to simply dust the piece periodically to keep any dirt from accumulating. They can be used for both indoor and outdoor use

You can use soap, warm water and a cotton cloth to periodically
go over the statue to remove any dust or dirt buildup.

Soap and warm water is the best way to maintain the statue. You can use a small brush to get into the small crevices of the statue like the hands and hair.

Granite's durability makes it perfect for cold winters and hot summers of any climate. The stone can stand up to the harshest conditions of heat and bitter cold. We suggest you bathe the sculpture at least once a year so that dirt does not collect on the sculpture. This will maintain the sculpture for your grandchildren and then their grandchildren!
