We started out shopping for a small figurine and now have the most amazing Buddha statue on the way for our yard. Body: Mu husband and I made an appointment and drove down to their warehouse, because we wanted to pick out our statues in person. They were extremely patient, and helpful with us. We took a long time in making our decision and they let us linger and look at many choices. They were wonderful and very accommodating. When we finally decided, the exchange was easy and quick. The statues were wrapped up and loaded in our car. I can't wait to go back when it's time to landscape our yard.

Body: This seems like an extremely good company. They provide a great deal of useful information, including many pictures of each object, information about the material of the sculpture and its mythological, religious, or iconographic significance. It was shipped promptly and very well packed, just as they claimed. I had a very positive experience and am very pleased with my purchase. My complaint is not with them but with the questionnaire, which does not allow me to leave blank the "price" field (hence I give it 3 out of 5, but if I knew the market that could shift). I'd prefer to do that, since I don't know this market. But the quality of the company in other respects gives me confidence that the pricing is fair.

Body: I have a growing collection of wonderful statues from Lotus Sculpture. I return again and again because of the quality, and the affordability, but most of all because of what I can only call the spirit of each piece. The owner, Kyle, has exquisite taste and by buying a piece from him I know I am supporting artists that love what they do, and the love shows in what they make. So all I can say is, I love Lotus Sculpture!

Body: I ordered an item over a weekend and paid for it with a credit card. On Monday I received an email stating that the item (one of a kind) was previously sold. The merchant offered a couple of alternative items which did not meet my needs. Eventually they located a similar item and sent photographs. They also offered a discount by refunding the shipping chargers ($35.00). I agreed to the new item and the refund for the shipping. The check for the shipping charges was supposed to be enclosed with the item but was not included. I was notified that the check would be sent separately and it arrived shortly after the item was received. Although I was annoyed by the hassle of purchasing a previously committed item, Lotus Sculpture Buddhist & Hindu Statues was EXTREMELY responsive and offered me an honest and fair solution. I give them my HIGHEST recommendation and will most definitely purchase from them again.

Body: Lotus Sculpture is the pre-eminent web based source for Indian exotic religious sculptures. I am a Hindu myself and he is able to acquire the most unusual items. The price including shipment is not cheap since these artists make the works out of devotion and charge in rupees but I realize that this is a global business. The two piece Lord Shiva Lingam and Nandi I have purchased is absolutely exquisite. It precisely resembles actual icons used in south Indian Saivite Temples. Overall, I would rate this business the absolute best for the international consumer. Excellent service and products. I highly reccommend Lotus Sculpture. I still have a request to obtain one specific icon which I pray Sri Shankar Bhagavan can assist.

Body: As a consumer, this was an exellent shopping experience. This merchant is really thoughtful and provides first rate customer service and products. That said, I just wish this merchant would offer more lower priced items. Much of whats available is museum quality lost wax emthod pieces that often run into the thousands and sometimes tens of thousands. While I certainly appreciate their beauty, this is more than I want to pay per item just to decorate my home. I can easily afford to buy the higher end pieces, but a more balanced selection would be appreciated.

Body: MY EXPERIENCE WITH LOTUS SCULPTURE IS THAT THEY OFFER A LARGE VARIETY OF ASIAN SCULPTORS AND WALL HANGINGS. THE OWNER KYLE TORTORA WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO ALL EMAIL MADE REQUESTS. MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH LOTUS SULPTURE IS THAT THE SATUE SENT WAS NOT THE SCULPTOR I HAD ORDERED. ALSO, THE SCULPTOR SENT WAS INCOMPLETE IN THE PARTS NEEDED TO COMPLETE IT COMPOSITION. THE INVOICE SENT WAS CORRECT BUT THE STATUE DID NOT MATCH THE INVOICE. WHEN I EMAILED LOTUS SCULPTURE, LYLE FELT THE STATUE SENT WAS WHAT I HAD ORDERED AND IF I WAS UNHAPPY WITH IT, THEN SEND IT BACK. I SENT IT BACK ON JUNE 3, 2006 BY UPS METHOD AND HAD TO PAY FOR SHIPPING IT BACK. MY FEELING IS THAT THE STATUE I HAD ORDERED WAS SENT TO SOMEONE ELSE. THE PACKERS AT LOTUS SCULPTORS WERE CARELESS IN MATCHING INVOICE TO STATUE SENT. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME IN PURCHASING MERCHANDISE OVER THE INTERNET THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT I HAD ORDERED. PLEASE TELL ME IF LOTUS SCULPTOR IS A RELIABLE SELLER AND HOW DO I FIND INFORMATION ON WHO IS OR IS NOT A RELIABLE INTERNET SELLER. I ASKED LOTUS SCULPTURE TO SEND ME THE OBJECT ORDERED BY ME IF IT WAS STILL AVAILIBLE AND IF NOT CREDIT MY ACCOUNT WITH THE COST I PAYED AS WELL AS THE SHIPPING COST OF RETURNING A SCULPTOR NOT ORDERED. IM WAITING TO SEE HOW THIS SITUATION WILL WORK. I LIKE WHAT LOTUS SCULPTURE HAS TO OFFER AND WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE AS A BUYER OF LUTUS SCULPTURES PRODUCTS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CONSIDER THIS WEB SITE A RELIABLE PLACE TO BUY MERCHANDISE. BEST REGARDS, CHRIS COLEMAN chriscoleman9@msn.com

Body: Ive been all over the Internet and in many San Francisco Bay Area stores and have never seen the quality, selection, and pricing that Lotus Sculpture offers. Each piece, no matter the price, is a work of art in that it is chosen personally by the owner and represents a legacy of fine craftsmanship that is hundreds of years old. The pieces are even more beautiful than the photos show. It is very unusual to run into a business that cares so much about what they do, and takes the pains it does to ensure each customer is satisfied. I love all my pieces and look forward to handing them on to my younger family members as heirlooms.

Body: This merchant is fantastic. My orders have arrived cleaned, unbelievably well-packed, and in great condition. Shipping costs were reasonable and the items arrived when expected. I really like the fact that there are photos that display the sculptures from several angles, not just the front. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Body: I have made several purchases of handmade art objects created in India from Lotus Sculpture over the past 6 months. These lost-wax sculptures are unique and the quality is outstanding. I have learned a lot about the medium and looked around at other dealers, and I believe Lotus Sculpture offers the choicest and most affordable examples of this art form. The buying process couldnt be easier, I always receive a confimation email, the shipping is timely, and the packing is first rate. I have had personal correspondence with the owner who has been always helpful and informative. He even looked for items for me while he was in India and has made purchases and orders based on my suggestions! This kind of business relationship is very rare and was unexpected and has only added to the excellence of the experience. This company has also helped in Tsunami relief by personally delivering fishing nets to needy villages. It is also gratifying to know my purchases supports village artisans who continue to pursue an art form that spans centuries of family tradition. I look forward to collecting over time with this company and I recommend it to everyone I know.

Body: The Shiva Natarajas quality far exceeded my expectations. I have since recommended Lotus Sculptures to many friends and business owners. The quality and detail of the statues available from Lotus Sculptures can best be termed as musuem/temple quality. The owner of Lotus Sculptures, Kyle Tortora, hand selects each piece. The inventory is therefore amazing. Anyone that is looking for a quality piece of work for religious or art purposes will be very pleased with the inventory at Lotus Sculptures.

Body: One could not ask for a more interesting and informative site, and the products are first class, beautifully described and photographed in great detail. Having purchased 8 pieces (2 wood carvings, 4 South Indian bronzes and 2 Bengali bronzes) since finding the site 2 months ago, I can attest that the pieces in real life are even more stunning than as already shown in their photographs. By all means make an appointment to see the whole collection if within driving distance (2 hours for me) - you wont regret it. Jim

Body: Shortly before Christmas I learned that my daughter-in-law wanted a stone statue. I searched many places, finding the only perfect item at Lotus Sculpture. I emailed early evening on the West Coast and got a response that night from Lotus, presumably on the East Coast. Two more exchanges followed with extra help on the logistics for purchasing and it arrived two days later, as promised, on Christmas Eve. And it was truly as wonderful as we had expected. A round of applause for these people, their products and their service.

Body: The merchant was very responsive to questions and requests. He was interested in his product and showed extensive knowledge of the product. He was concerned with the purchasers satisfaction with both his service and the purchasers pleasure with the product (which in my opinion was of the highest quality). I would not hesitate to shop with Lotus Sculpture again or encourage others to use their services.

      Title: Buying Nataraja
Body: Lotus Sculpture has a beautiful web site. When I asked questions they were responsive and friendly. The shopping experience was efficient and the sculpture I chose was safely and timely delivered. The photos on the web site really did the article justice and I am not in the least disappointed. Subsequent communication with Kyle the owner of Lotus Sculpture was also a good experience and I have shopped there again. That experience was also good. I am a very satisfied customer and would recommend Lotus to anyone.
